Science fair packets were sent home on Wednesday, October 7th. Please note the following checkpoint due dates:
Science Fair Check #1: October 14
(Signed Parent/ Guardian Letter)
Science Fair Check #2: October 21
(Title,Category, Purpose, Problem, Description)
Science Fair Check #3: November 18
-Hypothesis:”If...then...because” sentence.
-Variables (independent, dependent, & controls)
-Materials: List of all supplies needed (size,quantity, brand, etc)
-Procedure: Write a detailed step-by-step numbered list of instructions for your experiment.
-Blank Data Tables: Must include labels, titles, units (cm, m, etc.)
-Blank Graphs: Must include labels, titles, units (cm, m, etc.)
Science Fair Check #4: January 20
-Data Collected: Data assembled into appropriate graphs, tables, and charts.
-Analysis/Conclusion: Analyze data and write a concluding paragraph that supports or rejects your original hypothesis.
Science Fair Check #5: February 10 COMPLETED PROJECT & BOARD
-Project due in class
-Display board is neat and eye catching
